There’s no denying that getting outside and being in nature is beneficial to our health. So why don’t more families do it? Maybe they are scared of the unknown, don’t know where to start, or are unaware of the resources available to them. I want to change that. My goal is to make it as fool proof as possible for you and your family to connect with nature and find something to do in our area.
As technology takes over all our lives, we have to find balance. I know it isn’t realistic in this day and age for kids to have no screen time and to be sent outside to play like our parents did, and perhaps maybe as we did too. I will be the first to admit that my kids love their screen time more than I want them to, but we also make a huge effort to go outside and explore. We’ve found a happy medium and you can do the same. Make nature a part of your daily life.
